I am in the process of redoing our residing room/kitchen space.
- I have ripped out all the carpet and tile.
I have hardwood floors being installed. The living room is getting current cupboards and countertops. I definitely thought it was worth spending more cash on a current residing room couch too. I splurged to get a custom couch made that fits our residing room just right. It is the ideal size for my height to lay down on it. The couch no longer sticks out and cuts the space either. Even with it fitting the space though, I don’t unquestionably have the room for a table in my kitchen, and my residing room and kitchen area connect. With all our cabinets and couch in the room, there isn’t a good amount of square footage leftover. I am tired of standing at our counters and eating. I also don’t prefer that when I have people over I need to eat outside. I had a sudden stroke of genius the other afternoon though. I decided to call the custom couch guy again and asked if he could help me with this stressing issue. The guy came into our residence and took some measurements, and he has an idea for a really nice table that can fold into pieces and be entirely stored against our wall. I can open it up to be a mini table for myself, or fold out sections so I can have people over. The table in the kitchen doesn’t need to stay big or even open for the rest of the day though. I can’t wait to see what the custom table in the kitchen looks like once it is in our residence.
