I turned down the temperature by 5°, hoping that would finally eliminate some of the moist air in the room
My wife and I have been working very hard and we haven’t had a lot of time off together. If she is working on the weekend, I am off. If I am working on the weekend, then she is home with the kids. It’s been a long time since we had a vacation, so the kids were thrilled when we told them that we were going to the amusement park. We decided to pay for a resort hotel that was within walking distance of the park. My wife and I stayed in the same hotel several years ago. We were surprised to see very little changes over those years. The hotel clearly had not renovated very much in the last few years. Everything looks rundown and shabby. The carpet in our room was filled with stains and there was a sticky substance all over the lamp. I complained about the room, but my wife didn’t want to move to a different floor. A hotel maid came to clean all of the areas we complained about. Unfortunately, we also had issues with the heating and air conditioning unit. My wife turned on the air conditioner as soon as we decided to stay in the room. It ran for a half an hour and the room was still hot and humid. I turned down the temperature by 5°, hoping that would finally eliminate some of the moist air in the room. The air conditioner barely kept up with the heat in the room and I had the temperature set to 65 degrees. I’m glad we didn’t have to pay the electricity bill, because we had to run the air conditioner constantly just so the room was comfortable.
