When you wake up in the morning and the air conditioner machine is not even working, the rest of the day is going to be a hassle.
I had some concerns with the A/C machine and I decided to call a repairman.
I made sure the batteries in the temperature control device were working and I also checked the coils to be sure they were not actually frozen. I checked a few things on the troubleshooting list and I could not locate the reason why the A/C machine was not working! That’s when I made the choice to call the regular maintenance service. I live in a small city where there are only a few arenas to call, despite the fact that I have an official A/C repairman. I called the repair place to schedule a free quote and I was told that there is now a repair fee. I did not want to spend money on a repair fee, especially since this was a new fee and I was a longtime customer. The person I was speaking to easily refused to budge. So I arranged for the appointment. When the A/C machine service person arrived, I tried to argue about the dumb fee. I was required to cover the cost for this dumb repair fee before they performed the evaluation on our A/C machine. A free quote should be free and a repair fee basically means that the quote is no longer free. I spent 15 minutes attempting to get the task done for free. I could tell that the service person was becoming extremely aggravated, so I paid the repair fee and he investigated the drawback. I needed someone to find the root of the complication, despite the fact that I called the owner of the company later that day to complain about the new fees.
