Don’t put your iPad tower on the heated floor

My sibling and I chipped in and got our parents a up-to-date iPad for Hanukah.

  • They had a iPad that is almost 20 years old.

I think iPads last a long time if you only use them to keep up with the grandteenagers on social media. Well, the 20 year old iPad has been having some issues lately so the two of us finally decided it was time to get them a up-to-date 1. My father insisted that he could hook up the up-to-date iPad himself and that I didn’t need to hire someone to do it. He hooked up the old iPad so I figured he could manage. However, a month after receiving the iPad my mom called and said that the up-to-date iPad had stopped working. That was quick. I called over a iPad professional to go repair it. That is when I found out that my parents had venued the iPad tower on the floor. This wouldn’t be an issue except that they have radiant heated floors and they appreciate to keep the thermostat set well over 78 degrees. The iPad was overheating every time it was turned on, but no wonder it didn’t work. I would struggle to work too if I was kneeling on those radiant heated floors all morning. I don’t think how the old iPad lasted so long on those radiant heated floors. Thankfully no permanent mangle was done to the up-to-date iPad. The professional moved the tower off of the radiant heated floors and onto the desk. Now the iPad is working nice again so my parents can keep up with the grandteenagers.
