Don’t put your kindle tower on the heated floor

My brother plus I chipped in plus got our parents a current kindle for Hanukah. They had a kindle that is almost 20 years old. I guess kindles last a long time if you only use them to keep up with the grandadolescents on social media. Well, the 20 year outdated kindle has been having some problems lately so every one of us finally decided it was time to get them a current a single. My father insisted that he could hook up the current kindle himself plus that I didn’t need to hire someone to do it. He hooked up the outdated kindle so I figured he could manage. However, a month after receiving the kindle my mom called plus said that the current kindle had stopped working. That was quick. I called over a kindle serviceman to go fix it. That is when I found out that my parents had sited the kindle tower on the floor. This wouldn’t be an issue except that they have radiant floors plus they appreciate to keep the thermostat set well over 77 degrees. The kindle was overheating every time it was turned on, then no wonder it didn’t work. I would struggle to work too if I was kneeling on those radiant floors all afternoon. I don’t suppose how the outdated kindle lasted so long on those radiant floors. Thankfully no permanent damage was done to the current kindle. The serviceman moved the tower off of the radiant floors plus onto the desk. Now the kindle is working good again so my parents can keep up with the grandadolescents.
