Restoring a house includes HVAC upgrade

Thankfully, the great HVAC people we chose showed us an alternative

The news was so incredible that I woke up the next day thinking I had dreamt it all. But, it turns out that I did in fact inherit a house. When I read the news, I was thankful I was inside the HVAC and close to a chair. Because I was immediately weak in the knees with such amazing news. An aunt whom I had been quite close with had died. My wife and I were regular visitors throughout the last years of her life when she had become homebound. Her loss hit hard as she was just such a remarkable human being. However, the fact that she left us her house was something that essentially helped make our life. My wife and I are both teachers and have never had enough money to get into a house that wasn’t a tiny cottage. Now, we had been given an entire home that we could call our own. Since my aunt had been on such a fixed income for so long, she was unable to really keep the house in great shape. We helped her where we could and guided her toward spending her money on household essential. However, the house needed quite a few upgrades. The most pressing was the HVAC. The old central air HVAC unit was on its very last legs. In fact, during the winter my aunt had to supplement the HVAC with space heaters just to keep warm. So, our first priority was to have the HVAC replaced. However, we didn’t want the expense of replacing the central air unit. Thankfully, the great HVAC people we chose showed us an alternative. Instead of the central air option, we went with a series of ductless HVAC units. I just know my aunt would be so happy.
