When he was trying to get the dog to go to the bedroom, the dog looked like it was getting ready to attack.
My co-worker and I went to install a new heat pump and air conditioner last week and the owner of the house had two very large dogs. The dogs seemed friendly until I came in the house. They snarled and growled and even started to howl. I told the owner of the house that he had to put the dogs up and he insisted that they were friendly and posed no threat to my coworker and I. We had to walk in and out of the house on several different occasions to work on the installation job. I was very concerned about the dogs’ erratic behavior, especially when their owner didn’t seem to have much control. The guy was trying to tell the dog to sit and the dog was mauling him instead. When he was trying to get the dog to go to the bedroom, the dog looked like it was getting ready to attack. The dog made me feel very uncomfortable so my coworker and I tried to work as quickly as possible to install the new heat pump and air conditioner without any problems. We had to walk in and out of the house ser eral different times and I kept telling my coworker to ignore the dog. I think the owner of the house was trying to intimidate us when he walked by with the pooch off a leash. It was certainly one of the most uncomfortable situations that I have had to deal with in a long time and I probably would have left if I worked for myself instead of a company.
