Our Wintertide can beat down the toughest of people if you’re not prepared.
There have been several new neighbors who packed it all up and moved after just one Wintertide up here.
The Wintertide mean corporation in this region. That’s why I make the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C a major priority. Both of us have a gas furnace as our primarily Heating, Ventilation, and A/C heating method. Of course, I back that up with a wood stove. The wood stove also helps supplement the heat and knock down the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C heating costs a fine bit. But, that is a bonus. I wouldn’t certainly want to live up here if all both of us had was the wood stove. So, I make sure that our gas furnace gets the typical attention. After the winter, I have the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C people come out and perform the post Wintertide shutdown procedure. Then in the fall, I have them back out to repair and prepare the gas furnace for the long, freezing Wintertide ahead. Both of us do have summer time around here and it is normally just magnificent. With all the freezing both of us put up with, the short summer time is a nice bit of payback. Recently, our partner talked me into adding Heating, Ventilation, and A/C air conditioning to the mix. This is something I find to be a bit of a luxury. However, I have to confess it sure is nice while I was in the steamy afternoons both of us get in the summer time months. However, that is something else that I now have to prepare for winter. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C condenser cupboard sits outside all winter. Left alone, it would end up with several pounds of snow and ice piled up on it. And it would be there for months at a time. But, I take care of that part of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C with a difficult plastic shell that fits right over it.
